Spread Eagles bed and breakfast is located in Churchstow Village in the beautiful South Hams, perfectly positioned for those looking for a relaxing walking holiday in South Devon, with plenty of towns, beaches and various local attractions close by to explore and enjoy. Offering beautiful views overlooking the Avon Valley and Dartmoor, we even have our own 24 acres of land, over which you are free to roam, you are also welcome to sit and relax in the garden with your tea or coffee or even a bottle of wine! We are only 3 miles from the market town of Kingsbridge where you can spend a day shopping on Fore Street followed by hearty meal in one of the many pubs and café’s, then afterwards perhaps a relaxing stroll along the quay. Or you could take your family to the nearest beach at Bantham - a mere 2 miles from our b&b. Also a short drive away is Bigbury beach and Burgh Island (made famous by Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot). If you are looking for a golfing break, we are but a short drive from Thurlestone Golf Course. Or, if you are attending a wedding at one of the many wedding venues in Bigbury, Thurlestone, Kingsbridge or Salcombe, we are closely located to these areas and would be the ideal accommodation for you.
