Boo Hewerdine

Former member of the bands Placebo and The Great Divide who, in 1985, formed The Bible with jazz drummer Tony Shepherd, subsequently recruiting former bandmate Kevin Flanagan with whom he had played in The Great Divide.

The Bible enjoyed some success, with a cult following spread mostly through word of mouth and live performances.

In 1990 Hewerdine left The Bible to go solo, but has since also worked with other artists, including Austin-based singer/songwriter Darden Smith, Brooks Williams and Eddi Reader, as well as writing songs for such artists as K.d. Lang, Paul Young, Mel C, Marti Pellow, David McAlmont, Brian Kennedy, Kris Drever, Sarah Jane Morris, Alex Parks and Natalie Imbruglia.
