Brook Inn

Brook Inn

The Brook Inn was built in 1974 and has had a fairly chequered history since. It's fair to say that the venue has had more than its fair share of ups and downs and when John and Ian took over the reins on 7th April 2014 it was in need of a lot of TLC!

Their aim was (and remains) simple; to position the pub at the very heart of the local community and provide a venue for accessible live entertainment. John is a former BBC Radio producer and presenter and has spent many years championing local musicians.

It took the best part of three long years to build the business up, a challenge that was well worth it considering it now boasts awards for its service, its entertainment and its food.

We're also dog and family friendly (we suggest a 9pm curfew for children under 18 years old).

Our food menu is available from Monday through to Saturday, both lunch and dinner. On Sundays we serve roast lunches from midday till 2pm and then close the restaurant in the evening and offer a very simple bar snack menu which allows us to get ready for our busy quiz or open mic night (which alternate each week).

Although we embrace spontaneity, we always advise table bookings whenever possible.
