Silvington

Tricia Moore has a well-established pedigree, honed over many years in the folk clubs and bars of Plymouth, Canterbury and Aberdeen, combined with a stint on a cruise ship and a few local television spots. More recently, her solo performances around Cornwall and West Devon preceded a return to her folk roots at Folk on the Moor, where her delicate guitar playing and clear voice mark her out as a fine performer.

John Connor was a member of Fairfield, the resident band at Bromsgrove Folk Club in the West Midlands, for 23 years before relocating to the South Hams and establishing himself as a solo performer in the local folk scene. A multi-instrumentalist, he contributes to what is emerging as Silvington’s trademark vocal harmonies.

Purveyors of both traditional and contemporary songs, they are also prolific songwriters in their own right, and their repertoire rightly showcases some self-penned gems.
