Bukolika Piano Trio

Anna, Roma and Joanna first came into public attention after performing in the concert series ‘Polish Music Exposed’ at the Royal Academy of Music Piano Festival in 2016. All are currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the supervision of Michael Dussek, Rodney Friend and Christoph Richter.

Boasting a varied repertoire, the Trio are continuously developing their skills by taking part in many masterclasses, most recently with Bengt Forsberg and Guy Johnston.

The ensemble is particularly interested in discovering and performing chamber works of the XXth and XXIst century, especially from their native Poland. Their latest concerts included works by Mikołaj Górecki, Hanna Kulenty, Kaija Saariaho and others.

The trio have given many concerts in the UK and around Europe, including in Poland, Germany, France, Austria, Romania and Spain.

One of their most recent achievements was to be selected for St John's Smith Square Young Artists Scheme 2017/2018 and receiving the title of finalist of the St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Music Competition 2017.
