Beth Hart

Grammy nominated blues singer and songwriter who also plays piano, guitar, cello, bass guitar and percussion. She has struggled with drug addiction and bi-polar disorder, but taken control of her life through religion and transcendental meditation.

She first began playing piano at the age of four before attending the High School for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, where she majored in vocal and cello. She began playing the blues in Hollywood clubs at the age of 15 before winning the Female Vocalist portion of the American TV talent show Star Search in 1993.

In 2011 she began working with Joe Bonamassa, releasing the duet album Don't Explain, which turned into a Blues hit, raising her profile considerably.
