Located on what is now called Barbican Approach between the fish market and leisure park, the pub is today a free house and until recently housed an on site brewery. The Sutton Brewery was first established in 1993 but has since relocated and rebranded as South Hams Brewery.

Quintin and Debbie Style are the current landlords, and have been so for the past 18 years.

Recent changes have included the expansion of the bar and addition of Thai in the Park, an in house Thai restaurant on the first floor.
