Like the rest of Britain, Devon has seen a renaissance in the brewing industry with dozens of brewers making hundreds of beers, our beer policy is for ‘quality over quantity’ thus we serve only two permanent beers on handpull this, combined with excellent cellarmanship, means we can guarantee the freshness of our ales. And, as a result, we're in the 2017 and 2018 Good Beer Guides.
Good food is also at the heart of what we do. Quality sourcing from local butchers, farms, growers and fishermen combined with simple, yet excellent, cooking skills from Gavin Castle our head chef and his team.
Please note: we close between 3:00pm and 6:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
